Abby Porter was born on the west side of Cleveland, where – like many other Catholic families in the area – her father was one of eleven siblings and her mother was one of six siblings. Amidst the chaos of every family gathering that comes with such a large family, she was raised surrounded by blue-collar workers who valued taking care of their families and communities above all else through hard work and perseverance.

Abby was the second person in her family to attend law school and become a lawyer. In law school, she studied hard both in the classroom and outside – serving as an extern in the Northern District of Ohio where she was able to absorb what it takes to effectively advocate for clients. After graduating law school and being admitted to practice law in Ohio in 2019, she defended corporations in their complex corporate litigation and personal injury litigation across the country, including transportation litigation, products liability, and premises liability. While she quickly became familiar with the playbooks of large corporations and the litigation tactics that get their attention, she felt a lack of fulfillment and calling to protect the hard working and wrongfully harmed individuals in her community as was instilled in her throughout her upbringing. Accordingly, when given the opportunity to join Robenalt Law, Abby jumped at the chance.

Abby is thrilled to join the strong advocates at Robenalt Law bringing with her recent and extensive experience in assessing and defending personal injury cases on the defense side. She will use her experience to help those wrongfully harmed achieve justice and hopes to help to ensure that no additional harm comes from the carelessness of corporate America.
